Eric Johansen, RLA - Director of Land Planning
Professional
Experience
Mr. Johansen is a Registered Professional Landscape Architect having over 10
years of professional experience spanning land planning and design, project
management and team building, land use and zoning issues, President of a
captive design/build general contracting firm, and providing architectural
signage solutions. The main focus of his career has involved the complex
land planning and unique problem solving for his Client’s needs. He has a
wide range of experience with all facets of site development and
construction for projects of all sizes. He has performed land planning
services, due diligence studies, developed site plans and construction
documents for commercial, industrial, office, residential and multifamily
developments. He has extensive experience with zoning and land use issues
and site related permitting issues. He also has a vast amount of experience
related to building construction and construction administration &
management. As a Principal Member of Inland Surveying his responsibilities
include daily operations of the company, business development, government
relations and client management.
Mr. Johansen is a current member of the Gwinnett County Tree Advisory
Committee, he is a former member of the Gwinnett County Planning Commission
serving as Chairman from 2006-2008, is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett
Class of 2008-2009, serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Gwinnett
Neighborhood Leadership Institute, serves as a local umpire for the Gwinnett
Braves Minor League Baseball team and continues to further his umpire
knowledge working both collegiate and high school baseball in the
Southeastern United States. Additionally, he coaches youth sports for his
children and volunteers in the local community.

Johnny Free - Director of Field Operations
Professional Experience
Mr. Free
has more than 16 years experience in the Land Surveying and Mapping
Profession. He served in the United States Military were he achieved the
National Defense Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Accommodation
Medal, and U.N. Multi-National Forces Medal to name a few. Currently he
is a Principal Member of Inland Surveying, and has the operating title
of Director of Field Operations. He has worked in the past as a Project
Manager, GIS Technician, Field Crew Supervisor, and Instrument Operator
for Land Surveying Companies and Government Agencies in Georgia, Florida
and Washington State, with his entire working experience being in the
Land Surveying Industry. He has experience with but not limited to
ALTA/ACSM Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Military
Specific Surveys, Transportation Route Surveys, Pedestrian Sidewalk and
Trail Surveys, Power Transmission Route Surveys, Wetland Mitigation
Surveys, Geodetic Surveys, State, Federal, County and City Municipal
Surveys along with providing extensive Construction Layout for
Commercial, Residential and Government Projects. He has worked on a
variety of Meets and Bounds, and Public Land System Boundary Surveys in
Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Washington State. He is
also an active member of his

Chaz Waters - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Waters
has over 14 years of professional experience
ranging from General Contracting, Project Management, Construction
Management, Development, Consulting and Real Estate Brokerage in North and
Central America. The focus of
his career has ranged the gambit from residential (single and multi-family),
industrial and commercial properties taking on a myriad of roles depending
on the varying needs generated by the projects.
Problem solving align with “out of the box” thinking has allowed him
to overcome various obstacles when faced with development and/or use related
issues in order to facilitate a positive outcome for the project. Mr. Waters
has completed project for such as:
